Hardware Makcik PC
Kenapa MIMOS tak guna MIMOS Pesona 16 or Pesona 32 sebagai processor untuk Makcik PC ni ye? Pesona 16 ni kan CPU pertama buatan Malaysia, tapi takat ni saya tak pernah jumpa komputer yang guna CPU buatan Malaysia ni. MSCSB pun tak guna kot...

Wasted Effort
Great effort, lousy marketing.
You think calling it MAKCIK will make it global ? Looking from the smirk from the PM, he must be having a hard time containing his laughter.

:grin Good intention and excellent effort from MIMOS to look into narrowing the digital divide especially in rural areas. I fully support and hope MIMOS can continously invent more product like this to allow more Malaysian have the puchasing capability which is the main issue in the rural area.

MakcikPC looks like eBuku?
This MakcikPC sure looks just like the eBuku Tablet PC produced by a local MSC Status company few years back? That TPC definitely does not cost less than RM2K though :zzz

Heck, even it cant play movie, its a heck of paper replacements. With these, we can read ebook like holding newspaper, and perhaps draw like using wacom tablet. But from the looks in the pic, i doubt it'll be 16" screen. at most 10" to 12" ;)
